Which data are processed for which purpose?
We will only process your personal data provided for those purposes for which we received or collected them.
Data processing for other purposes will only be considered if the necessary legal requirements according to Art. 6 Para. 4 GDPR are met. Possible information obligations according to Art. 13 Para. 3 GDPR and Art. 14 Para. 4 GDPR will naturally be respected in this case.
What is the legal basis for processing personal data?
The legal basis for processing personal data is basically described in Art. 6 GDPR – not including further possibilities of specific legislation, which could be the following:
- Consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a) GDPR)
- Data processing necessary for the performance of contracts (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR)
- Data processing based on legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party (Art. 6 Para 1 lit. f) GDPR)
- Data processing necessary for compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit c) GDPR)
If personal data are processed based on your consent, you have the right to revoke that consent at any time, with effect for the future.
If your personal data are processed based on legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, you have the right to object to this processing of your personal data – in consideration of Art. 21 GDPR.
How long will the information be stored?
We will process data as long as it is necessary for the respective purpose. Should any legal retention obligation exist, e.g. in commercial law or tax law, the concerning personal data will be saved for the duration of the retention obligation period. After the expiration of this period, we will consider if further processing is necessary; if not, the data will be deleted.
Basically, we will check any collected or processed data regarding the necessity of further processing at the end of each legal year. Due to the quantity of these data, this audit takes place with regard to specific data types or purposes of processing.
Naturally, you can request information regarding your personal data at any time. If processing them is not necessary, you might demand deletion or restricted processing of these data.
Will any third party receive your data?
Personal data will only the be transferred to a third party if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, a transfer is permitted based on legitimate interests according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit f) GDPR, we are legally bound to transferring them or if you gave your consent to this.
Where will the data be processed?
Your personal data will be processed exclusively in computer centers of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Your rights
You have the right of information on your personal data processed by us.
If the information inquiry is not handed in in written form, please understand that evidence may be required that proves you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have rights of rectification or deletion as well as limitation of the processing of your data, if you legally hold these rights.
Moreover, you have the right to object to processing the data, all within the limits of the statutory provisions and restrictions. The same applies to the right of data portability.
Particularly, you have the right to object to the processing of your data with regard to direct advertising, should it be based on legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party, all according to Art. 21 Para. 1 & 2 GDPR.

Right to appeal to the authorities
Not withstanding any other administrative or judicial decision, you have the right to appeal to the authorities, especially in the member state where you are located, your workplace, or the location of the alleged violation if you believe that the processing of your personal data is in violation of GDPR.
The authority receiving the appeal shall inform the appealing party of the status and result of the appeal, including the option for a legal decision as per Art. 78 GDPR.
